Today we learned "nose" which is the equivalent of "put your head down" or "relax" or whatever you wish to call it. I used a bone as a target to teach it. Started out praising every time she nosed the bone and it went from there. For something so simple I find it ridiculously adorable.
Also continuing to work on strengthening her drop on recall. She's been lazy these past two days [shocking..!] so she's super slow on the recall. Mr. Tortoise would beat her without breaking a sweat.

Days 9-21
I haven't updated in a loooong time. We've still been working everyday. Took a short break to get her CGC and Therapy dog certification! wooo.
As for new commands we did "Mat" [go to a specific place/object and lay down], "Watch" [eyes on me], "find it" [for Tracking], and Drop on recall.
Other than that I've been working on strengthening her distance stays, fuss, going from platz to sit to platz again and lots and lots of Tracking! We've been busy busy going to pet stores, taking her CGC and Therapy tests, going to the dog park and a lot of running and exploring with Mr. Travis.
I'm going to work on strengthening her drop on recall [she does it from about a 5 ft distance so far] and then work on drop on fuss. I want to get her CD title next so thats why I've been working on Fuss a lot.

Day 7 & 8
I had the random urge to lay a track and do some [seriously] amateur tracking with Addaxx. She loved it and picked up on what she was supposed to do right away. The tracking kind of sparked teaching "touch", something I hadn't taught yet for whatever reason. Most people start with "touch" from the beginning. lol
She had a love/hate relationship with learning "touch". She started getting so frustrated she'd kick the object away or pick it up [which is exactly what I want lol]. Once she realized that touching or even sniffing said object would bring yummy treats she loved it! I was sitting there talking to my brother in an attempt to show him how to train 'touch' to his Chihuahua, and Addaxx was sitting in front of me pawing at the object and looking at me for a reward. She's too funny sometimes.
I got a cell phone vid of her doing "touch"

Slowly but surely we're working our way down!
(I love how so far I haven't worked on any of the tricks on my 'to do list' in the original post)

A few videos
Warning: These are ridiculously low quality videos. Since the ol point and shoot won't allow me to upload the videos to my lap top, I've had to resort to using my cell phone for the videos. Apologies.
Here is when she first learned "Under". You'll notice she still required a lot of guiding. She is now to the point where I give her the command and she'll do it without my help.

Horrible video for her "hold". It's hard to video this one myself so she's basically sitting there miserably with the noose in her mouth until I give her the release. lol

Here she is doing her "Lemme see your paws" trick. I think it's one of my favorites because it's so ridiculous.

Here's "Roll", "Spin" and "Twirl"

Day 3, 4, 5, & 6.
Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been sick these past few days and the weather has been horrible.
She'll now hold an object for a short amount of time. We'll work on strengthening it. For now, we are moving on to a more fun trick. She'll be happy with the transition, she's getting bored of having to sit and hold an object. It's pure torture for a dog who likes to GO GO GO!
I think we'll try Crawl. She likes things to be more upbeat and involve movement. We'll try that tomorrow.
I do have a few crummy cell phone videos to share, including one of her brief "hold". I'll upload those asap.

Day Two
Days left: 89
Tricks Left: 80
Small, boring update. Had a super stressful day at work so we had a quick session today. More "hold" exercises. Still kicking myself for this choice!
Though I did find that putting peanut butter on the leash made her more willing to put it in her mouth.
Travis is blissfully ignorant in his own little world. Addy and I are in the yard working on training and he's off squeaking a ball on the trampoline. What a simple life. lol
I'm hoping this picks up. It's only day 2, but this is the longest it's ever taken her to pick up on something. I think I've just been spoiled so far. These Shepherds pick up on things within five minutes so 2 days just seems weird. hah.
She understands that once the item is in her mouth it must remain until I tell her to release, but getting said item in her mouth is the issue. Patience and Perseverance is key!

Day One
My memory card for the point and shoot is not being cooperative so trick vids will come later.
Days left: 90
Tricks left: 80
Introduced "hold" an object today. She wasn't entirely thrilled about the whole thing. She'll eat poop, but she doesn't want to hold a leash in her mouth. Go figure.
She's slowly getting the hang of it. She'll hold for a few seconds so far with me right there. Goal with this one is to get her to pick up an object and hold it until I give her a release command. So obviously this one has a few parts and will likely take several sessions. Noooo clue why I started with this one. Kind of regretting it now. lol Oh well, we'll get through it.
Hopefully I can get the memory card to cooperate so I can upload the vids I took today and take the rest of them.

Introduction
I've been working with Addaxx a lot lately and decided it might be fun to come up with a challenge for us. Some goal to work towards. It's purely for fun and whether or not we actually reach 100 by the end date doesn't really matter.
I decided I want to do 100 tricks by her 2nd birthday, which is June first.
I plan on updating daily to keep of our progress.
I also highly encourage others to participate in the challenge.
I need suggestions for tricks. My creativity is failing me. I'm looking for easy-moderate tricks. Nothing super complex for this 'challenge'. I'm looking for silly/useless things here. lol.
For reference when making suggestions, she so far knows:
Sit/Sitz
Lay Down/Platz
Come/Hier
Spin
Twirl - opposite direction of spin
Shake
Other - opposite paw of shake
Stay/Bleib
Rollover
Play Dead
Show me your paws-lays on back and puts paws in air
Tight - sits directly in front of me touching my leg
Side - sits directly at my side touching my leg
Wave
Stand - from a sit or down
Around - or “finish” starts in front and goes around behind me to sit at my left side
Fuss - heel
Over - agility jump
Tunnel - agility
Table - gets on grooming table
Hup - up or over something
Kisses
Gentle - when taking treats
Leave it
Off
Up - stands on hind legs
Go get Travis - retrieves Travis when he is out of sight
Back Up - walks backwards
Under - goes around behind me and comes through my legs [foundation for weaving through my legs]
------------
I'm not including all of those in the trick list.
Tricks so far:20
